But it's amazing how God can instantly (or over a loooong time), change your perspective. Like you said, you have to let endurance do its work.

And in response to your last post, we moved back to Las Vegas (where both of our families are) last year. We felt a strong call from the Lord and we fell flat on our faces for the first 6 months. I mean Ben was working for $7.50 an hour because that's all he could find. We were living in a cramped bedroom at my parents'. But after that first 6 months, because we endured and trusted the Lord, he saw us through and got us back on our feet. We're not making a whole lot more money but its enough to be on our own and moving forward. If it's any consolation, I know several other families in similar situations. There's a lot of us suffering through it will y'all. And I'm praying for your family!jessi bridgeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16221126485411903769noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7226133277966122284.post-56731590271787152832013-07-26T10:19:43.556-05:002013-07-26T10:19:43.556-05:00Mae,
I do not know you, but I wish I did! This was...Mae,
I do not know you, but I wish I did! This was so beautiful and exactly what I needed to read today. My husband and I (and our 4 month old son) are about to be in a position where we will be moving from our beautiful house in Texas, into a bedroom at my sisters' house. I won't even be making enough money to pay all of our bills and we are just praying that my husband will find a job. But we are confident that this is exactly where God wants us to be. He wants us in a position where we are COMPLETELY dependent on Him so that when He comes through we can take no credit whatsoever for ourselves!! It truly is endurance. I too know what its like to have a hard labor (so hard it makes you question whether or not you could ever do it again!) and I know that was just building my strength for the next time! I am praying for you and your family. Thank you for sharing this! :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07461192996036784676noreply@blogger.com
