Praise the Lord that she is okay and that He worked out all the details to get Eamon there. I am sure that was SUCH a blessing to you! Praying for Lily's appt. tomorrow. (You've got such a passion in your voice, I can hear it and it makes me grin.) but I figure since you don't want me to thank them, i'll just go ahead and say I'm glad you all are ok and that the first BIG "boo-boo" is always the worst, in Lily's case, hers was worse than most. But what a trooper she was!

I was so offended when CPS were questioning us about conrads 3rd degree oven burn. I hated that they were treating me like I abused my baby, but then I stepped back and realized that they have to act like that because there are parents out there who actually DO hurt their babies and I'm glad for the sake of those babies that someone is standing up for them, defending them. The CPS guy told us that the day before, there was a baby with an iron burn on it's back and they took the child away.... how sad is that?!

I'm sure seeing parents without kids who have shots up to date is more common than you think at hospitals. I bet they weren't as surprised as you were. Plus you knew the questions were coming, so i bet in your mind you were already prepared to be treated like a criminal. You're making the best choices for your baby and that's all that matters.Chelseahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16624349621537848131noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7226133277966122284.post-7099294786706929712010-11-21T21:47:06.170-06:002010-11-21T21:47:06.170-06:00Oh my goodness, Mae! I understand the vax thing, and have been through that at the ER before, but not under the kind of stress you were under! I want to say, "Can we forget about this for now and just treat my child?"

KellyForHisGloryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07630188021876419996noreply@blogger.com
